About

Charlotte Dennis is an artist making illustrations, paintings, and sculptures. Born in Austin, Texas, Charlotte grew up making art with her family and community. She received her BFA in Studio Art and BA in Feminist Studies from Southwestern University, and has taught art for children at studios in Austin and in Sydney, Australia.
Animals, plants, environmental well being, thrift store treasures, and childhood experiences influence the imagery in her work.
Charlotte lives with her husband and her daughter in Baltimore, Maryland, and they have one very playful cat.

Charlotte uses watercolor, gouache, collage, colored pencil, acrylics, oils, and paper mache to create her work.
